The Area
The Cotswolds, Oxford and a great deal in between.
The Barn sits in the village of Middle Barton, on the edge of the Cotswolds, surrounded by rolling countryside and chocolate-box villages, yet within easy reach of Oxford and the wider region. It is the sort of place where days unspool gently: a walk from the door, a long lunch in a village pub, an afternoon at a great house or garden, and home to the quiet of the barn.
On the doorstep
Within walking distance you will find an award-winning restaurant, the Cinnamon Stick, and the village shop. A little further afield, our guests return again and again to The Falkland Arms at Great Tew and The White Horse at Duns Tew, with Blenheim Palace, the classic Cotswold villages and the colleges and museums of Oxford all an easy drive away.

Getting here
Half an hour from Oxford and ninety minutes from London, with easy access to the road and rail networks. A car is the easiest way to explore the surrounding villages and countryside. Please note that the ford over the River Dorn is unsuitable for vehicles - do not attempt to drive through it.
